Unlike ring-shaped dies, flat dies remain fixed: complete rollers above the die rotate, directing material towards the holes by gravity. Flat dies are suitable for difficult and abrasive products, and are ideal for products such as wood, straw, minerals, products derived from cereals, agricultural coproducts, and so on.
